2 lbs extra lean ground beef
    3 tablespoons bread crumbs
    1 Large Egg
    1 Clove Garlic (minced)
    Black Pepper (to taste)
    1 Cup White flour
    2 Tablespoon Butter
    1 Cup sliced mushrooms
16oz Reduced sodium Beef broth (reduced by half)
1 Can Condensed French Onion Soup
    Corn Starch

Combine egg, bread crumbs, garlic, and black pepper(to taste) to ground beef, if possible allow to marinade for an hour. Form into 8 patties. Start reducing beef stock (by half).

Saute mushrooms with butter until golden brown, then remove from pan.

Dredge beef patties very lightly in the flour and brown both sides, add reduced beef stock and condensed soup and return mushrooms to the pan. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Remove beef patties, add corn starch to thicken the gravy, allow to cook for a couple of minutes. Return beef patties and serve! Preferably with buttery mashed potatoes.
