Introduction

This is a modification of a standard pot roast that cuts the fat content in half. This recipe requires a crock pot although it requires less time if you use a pressure cooker. Ingredients

    18 oz Top Sirloin Steak
    20 Baby Carrots (whole)
    9 Redskin Potatoes (chopped)
    1 large onion (chopped)
    4 cloves garlic (cut in quarters)
    1 tbsp garlic salt
    1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp thyme (fresh or dried)
    3 cup water
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

1. Brown steak on both sides in skillet.
2. Combine water, garlic salt, thyme, worcestershire sauce and browned steak in crock pot. Set Crockpot to high and cook for 1.5 hours.
3. After 1.5 hours add potatoes, carrot, onion, garlic cloves to the crock pot and cook for another 3 hours or until meat and veggies are tender.
