Ingredients

polish pork sausage
onion
potato
carrot
parsnips
salt
pepper
bayleaf
stock cubes
Directions
slice your 3 oz portion of sausage into thin slices and chop 2 large onions into small pieces and put on non stick , hot frying pan stirring all the time. After couple of minutes pour mixture made of one glass ( approx 250 mll.) of boiling hot water with stock cubes/ powder(3 teaspoons). Stirr occasionally. keep cooking until onion gets soft.
prepare big stewing pot filled 4/5 way with water with dash of salt, next put into water carrot ( chopped or not) and parsnip , then add 400 gr of chopped sauerkraut, add 2 leaves of bay leaf and pepper. Add raw potatoes( cut in 4 pieces) -peeled off and boil everything for about 45 minutes.After that pour mixture from frying pan into the pot and cook everything together for at least 45 minutes.
the best flavour will be achieeved if kept for another day.
