Introduction

Ingredients

    15 or so large Jonagold Apples
    3 Tbsp ground cinnamon
    1 cup water
    4 (32oz) clean mason jars for canning.

Directions

Peel and core apples; cut into chunky and put in a large stock pot. add 1 cup water and layer the cinnamon while adding the apples. Cook over med-high heat stirring occasionally, till apples start to become tender then switch spoon for a potato masher. Mash apples leaving a chunky applesauce. This makes roughly 4 32oz mason jars full so plan on canning it. nutritional in for is based on 1/2 cup serving size.
