Ingredients
-
1 stick unsalted butter softened
1 package (32 g) Sugar-Free Vanilla Pudding mix
1 large egg
3/4 c wheat germ
3/4 c plus 1/4 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
Betty Crocker cookie icing (about 4 tbsp)
Directions
Cream together butter, sugar, and pudding mix. Add egg. Blend 3/4 c flour, germ, and baking powder together and combine with butter mixture. Chill dough in freezer about 10 minutes (while you set up)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cover a flat surface with parchment and dust with some of the reserved flour. Roll out dough and cut into shapes. Bake for 7-9 minutes on well-greased or parchment lined cookie sheets.
Ice each cookie with about 1/2 tsp frosting (included in recipe, 10 calories per cookie).
TO MAKE TURKEYS: I used the "skull" shape from my halloween cookie cutters, but a round glass can be used just as well. Use a dab of frosting to attach 7 pieces of candy corn (the perfect way to pawn your leftover candy corn off on unsuspecting friends). Draw on legs, eyes, and beak.
ADD 50 calories per cookie if using 7 pieces of candy corn!
