Introduction

A delicious, tangy, great way to use up left over Thanksgiving turkey. A delicious, tangy, great way to use up left over Thanksgiving turkey.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 medium head cabbage, chopped
    1 14 oz can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
    4 c. sliced celery
    4 c. sliced carrots
    2 large onions, diced
    3 lbs canned, diced tomatoes
    10 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. snipped parsley
    2 T. granulated sugar
    1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
    1 t. smoked paprika
    2 dashes tobasco
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb diced cooked, left over turkey

Directions

Put all ingredients in a large stock pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and allow to simmer for a couple of hours. Add turkey, cover and allow to heat through. Add more broth, salt and peper to taste and as needed.
