Ingredients

1 cup organic pinto beans rinsed and sorted
2 cups organic navy beans rinsed and sorted
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 teaspoon stevia extract powder
    1/4 cup organic blackstrap molasses
    4 teaspoons organic dijon mustard
    2 tablespoons organic ketchup
salt or salt substitute to taste
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 cups bottled or filtered water
    12 Hebrew National beef franks

Directions

Rinse and sort beans to make sure there are no stones or dirt.
Either soak overnight, or boil gently for 30 minutes in 3 times the amount of water, then soak for 1 1/2 hours, or bring to a gentle boil in pressure cooker. Cover with pressure cooker lid and cook in pressure cooker on low heat for 45 minutes. I do it in the pressure cooker to save time. Rinse beans in colander to remove gas. Add other ingredients. Bake in oven for 6 hours on 300 degrees F. Can be cooked in the Crock Pot for 8 hours on low, or 4-6 hours on high.
Makes about 8 -- 1 cup servings
