Introduction

Makes a big loaf for a family or separate into two smaller loaves and freeze one for later. Makes a big loaf for a family or separate into two smaller loaves and freeze one for later.

Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef, lean
    1 lb ground turkey, 93% lean
    2 eggs, whole
    1 cup bread crumbs, plain
    1 pkg Lipton Recipe Secrets dry soup mix
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 cup ketchup
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl except ketchup. Form in to one or two loaves, depending on the size desired. Put in to loaf pan. Make two diagonal indentations in top. Pour ketchup over top. Bake in oven until internal temp reaches 160 degrees, for one big loaf approx. 60-80 min or until inside is no longer pink. Adjust time for two smaller loaves.
