Wow, what a sugar rush! These are definitely not a heathly snack. Wow, what a sugar rush! These are definitely not a heathly snack.
Number of Servings: 16


    -35 Zesta Wheat crackers
    -1 stick of unsalted butter
    -1/2 c butter
    -8 oz nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips
    -1 c or 120g chopped walnuts like Diamond brand


--Lay the crackers side by side on a foil lined sheet and then in a small pot melt the butter and sugar over med/high heat stirring often. Then when it boils, stop stirring and let it boil for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and pour and smooth over all the crackers evenly.

--Put in the over at 400 degrees for 7 minutes and then remove to sprinkle the chocolate chips on evenly and let sit for 5 minutes to melt. Spread evenly over the top and then top with the nuts. Cool, cut or break into about 16 even pieces.

--Makes about 16 servings.
