Remembered from childhood (the original recipe came from either Better Homes & Gardens, Family Circle, or Women's Day back in the '60's).. An easy "take-a-long", good hot or cold. Ingredients

    1 can solid water-packed Tuna, drained & flaked
    1 hard-boiled Egg, chopped
    1/4 cup Celery, chopped
    1/4 cup Onion or Green Onion, chopped
    (or 1-2 TBS dried minced onion)
    1 cup shredded light Cheddar Cheese
    Miracle Whip, Light (to moisten, approx 1/4 cup)
    (or light Mayo)
    2 tubes Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Combine tuna, egg, celery, onion and cheese with enough Miracle Whip to moisten.

Separate crescent roll dough into 8 rectangles, seal perforations.

Top each rectangle with approx 1/4 cup of tuna mixture. Fold in half and pinch edges
to seal.

Place on an un-greased baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes until golden brown.


Makes 8 turnovers.
