Ingredients
-
2 cups Whole Wheat Spaghetti
1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
1tsp Oregano (dried)
1tsp Marjoram (dried
1tsp Basil (dried)
1 clove garlic, finely minced (or powdered garlic to taste)
Salt to taste
Directions
Break spaghetti into approx. 1 inch pieces and then boil and strain as directed on the box.
Before you pour drained pasta back into the pot, reduce heat to medium-low and add olive oil, herbs, and fresh garlic, and simmer on the bottom of the pan for about 60 seconds. (This allows for the dried herbs to soak up some of the oil and lightly roasts the garlic.)
Stir in the pasta and add salt to taste. If using powdered garlic, add when salting the dish.
Serves 1-2 servings.
