Introduction
This very simple and very yummy recipe came from a Thai friend, and it is a huge hit with both my kids and my husband! I like to serve it with rice noodles, to sop up any extra dressing. Ingredients

Beef
1 lb. flank steak or other tender cut, cut into strips
6 cloves garlic (the more the better!), minced or crushed
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Dressing
1/4 cup fish sauce
1/4 cup lime juice (approx. 1 lime, or you can use bottled)
2 tbsp + 2 tsp Splenda
1 clove garlic, minced or crushed
Salad
1 head green leaf lettuce, washed and torn into pieces
1 or 2 cucumbers, sliced and seeds removed
1 or 2 tomatoes, cut into thin slices
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 of a medium red onion, sliced thinly
Directions
Combine dressing ingredients.
Stir fry garlic in oil over medium heat. Add beef and cook until done. Add any liquid from cooking to the dressing mixture.
Toss with remaining ingredients, tossing in the dressing last.
Makes 4 servings, each with 4 oz. beef. and approx. 2-3 tablespoons dressing.
