This is a fast and delicious recipe.
Just brown the turkey, then add Prego and onions and simmer while the spaghetti noodles cook.
We loved the lower, healthier cals, compared to hamburger-based spaghetti sauce.

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey, 93% ff
    1 24 oz. jar Prego spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
    2 T. onions, dried, minced

Tips

Use cooked spaghetti squash instead of pasta for much lower overall cals and carbs. And it's delicious!


Directions

Makes 5 servings.

Brown ground turkey in a large skillet.
Add onions and Prego sauce.
Simmer while spaghetti noodles cook.

Spoon over noodles and serve immediately.
Top with shredded Italian blend cheese.

NOTE: Don't forget to add the calories for the noodles and cheese.

    About 5 oz., a little over 1/2 c. per serving.

    Did you like it?

    If you serve it over cooked spaghetti squash, it really saves on the total carbs, compared to spaghetti or other pasta.
