Introduction

A good soup for cold weather A good soup for cold weather
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
one large onion chopped (about 2 cups)
3 stalks of celery chopped (1 cup)
    salt and pepper to taste
    chili powder
2 can cubed or crushed tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    2 cans red kidney beans
spaghetti noodles 7 oz of dry uncooked
    8 cups of water

Directions

Chop celery and onion and put in big pot to saute and then add ground beef to cook. When cooked add salt, pepper, and chili powder to taste. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and kidney beans then add water. Bring back to a low boil and then turn down to simmer for a half an hour. Then add spaghetti and it will be ready when the spaghetti is ready. I estimated 12 servings because I used 8 cups of water but you can use less if you like it thicker. I like it to be more like a soup since that is the way my aunt used to do it.
