Buttery Cookies - made small so you can have a couple and not feel too badly! Buttery Cookies - made small so you can have a couple and not feel too badly!

Ingredients

    1.5 Cups Butter
    3/4 Cup Confectioners Sugar
    3/4 Tsp Salt
    1.5 Cups Finely chopped Almonds (ground)
    4.5 Tsp Vanilla
    3 Cups Flour
    1/3 Cup Confectioners Sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter, gradually add 3/4 cup confectioners sugar and salt. Beat until fluffy the add almonds and vanilla. Blend in flour gradually and mix well. Shape into balls using 1 tsp. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the balls. Let cool slightly and then roll in confectioners sugar. I sometimes add some cinnamon to the confectioners sugar.
