This is a great whole grain recipe! Very versatile and forgiving - use different milks, sweeteners, and it always performs. well. Use to make waffles or pancakes. You will definitely enjoy this. Ingredients

    Whole wheat pancakes/waffles

    2 c. whole wheat berries
    3 c. milk (1%, Soy, reconstituted powder milk - I have tried all of them and all work great)

    Blend in blender for 4 minutes.

    Then add:

    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 T. Agave Nectar (or 4 T sugar)
    2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. oil
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp vanilla


    Blend again.

    1 large apple quartered, core seeds removed

    Pulse in blender to chop apples

    Cook on hot griddle or waffle iron.



Directions

My Belgian waffle iron this makes 7 large round waffles which we break into 28 triangles. We serve this drizzled with agave nectar instead of syrup, with sliced bananas and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Makes excellent pancakes too!
