Introduction

Nice easy 1-pan recipe found from Sparker DISHI4 and slightly adjusted for my own tracker. Nice easy 1-pan recipe found from Sparker DISHI4 and slightly adjusted for my own tracker.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup chopped onion
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1.5 lbs lean ground beef
    2 Tbsp flour
    1 cup non-fat milk
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp ground sage
    3/4 tsp salt
    10 oz bag frozen mixed veggies (I use peppers, peas, broccoli)
    4 oz frozen corn

Directions

Heat skillet and saute about 2 oz. of ground beef along with the onions and garlic until onions are brown.
Add the rest of the ground beef and cook until browned.
Sprinkle flour evenly over mixture in pan and stir well.
Add milk in small amounts, stirring well each time.
Add cumin, sage and salt
Add frozen veggies and continue to cook for a few minutes more (until desired tenderness).

Makes approximately 4 1-cup servings.

    This was good, much better with the 3/4salt vs the 1/4 salt on DISH4 recipe. I used ground turkey, sea salt and 1% milk instead. Thanks for the recipe! - 3/26/11
