Introduction

I wanted biscuits that were easy and fast that were also low fat. Found a recipe that sounded good and tweaked it to lower the fat content. I wanted biscuits that were easy and fast that were also low fat. Found a recipe that sounded good and tweaked it to lower the fat content.
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups Buttermilk complete pancake mix
    1 cup low fat buttermilk
    4 tsp Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
    1 tsp cracked black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients and stir until just mixed (do not over mix or biscuits will be tough). Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 11 minutes. Makes 18 biscuits.

**note: if you do not have buttermilk, add one teaspoon vinegar to one cup skim milk and let it sit for five minutes. Add to recipe as you would buttermilk.
