Trying to come up with a decent oatmeal recipe; and think this turned out pretty good. Didn't have any sugar free maple syrup, but will get and use instead of the regular maple syrup.
This is a gluten free pancake recipe and could use other fruits or pumpkin type ingredients for added flavors. I used pumpkin because it is so easy.
A very good start to the day with a low glycemic omelet that has staying power to keep you from getting the ten o'clock snacking urge. Takes some prep time.

Delicious smoothy using frozen strawberries/blueberries and vanilla almond milk
Ripe bananas, finely chopped almonds, Wheat Germ, and Flax thrown into the mix. The kids don't know they are eating healthier and will love this!
These are low-fat, low sugar, and super yummy. In place of butter or oil; use applesauce. Next time I will use just egg whites to try to lighten them up just a tad bit more.

Deep-fried whole-wheat bread. Typically eaten with a variety of curries, or even with desserts like halwa and srikhand.
Found these in a cookbook. Only thing I did different was used Splenda instead of sugar!
