make ahead mix to have for rainy days, quick holiday baking, or whenever you want something sweet right out of the oven. Dry ingredients stay good on the shelf.
This is the authentic Southern style, unreconstructed, and unenlightened beverage of Yuletide. It’s a full meal in itself.
Breakfast casserole. I love to make this on holidays. I can prepare it the night before and cook in am. Tastes great!
These are NOT diet friendly. I made them for a cookie exchange at work!
This cookie was a Pillsbury Bake-Off winner in the 1950's. My mom made it with her mom and now I'm making it with her! We love it and make it every Christmas!
I invented this way to use up my Christmas turkey leftovers, though I am surely not the first. It is delicious with cranberry sauce and a glass of white wine. Note: the pie will not cut well when hot. For optimal portioning, the pie should be refrigerated and then reheated. I had great success using a muffin tin and then freezing the little pies overnight. They were a cinch to release and wrap for freezing so that I had individual portions for lunches.
This recipe is on the side of the Maseca Brand Corn Masa mix. :) It's not healthy, but delicious. I'm going to try and invent a lower fat higher protein option, but for now. I ate these puppies and now I'm working it off. :(
Very tasty molasses cookies, I got the recipe from a friend and made them a couple christmases ago. My family went nuts for them. I'm now required to make them every year. :)
A family favorite during the Christmas holiday. Turkey sausage works well too if you can find it.
I used regular crust instead of gram cracker, and I used sugar free pudding and jell-o too.
