Craving some cake, but still hungry for pie? This fruity dessert combines the best of both worlds, with apple-pie goodness blended into a moist sheet cake.
These cupcakes are not perfect (no lower carb food tends to be the same as the high carb food) but they help me deal with cravings. My oven is sometimes underheating so you might want to test that the time is right for your oven and peek in on the cupcakes at about 13 or 14 mins or so.
These taste a lot like the Milano cookies, but then they're lower carb. The davinci syrup is pretty important to get the right texture, otherwise you get a very sandy cookie that is too dry. It might work with the same amount of water and some other sweetener, but I haven't tried that (yet).
