The other fritatta listed on this site was very good...but I wanted to reduce the calories. The other one was 462.8 calories....this one is over 80 calories less.

My mom sent me this recipe (which is unedited) to try. It sounds delicious, but is relatively not healthy for you. Can anyone tweak it to make it healthier? I am new at this, so don't know how to modify it. Thanks!
This recipe is an adaptation of pasta puttanesca, with the addition of shrimp to increase the protein content.

This is a great tomato sauce recipe. I use for my spaghetti and as a sauce for pizza. It's easy to do and tastes great.
This sauce is great for freezing and using whenever you want homemade sauce.
This crust comes out nice and crunchy. You can make it as thick or thin as you want. You can use any type of flour for this recipe and it comes out great.
Makes a double batch of meatballs. I use 1/2 of them for that night's spaghetti and throw the other 1/2 in the freezer for another day.
I can't say this is the best for a diet however, it is good, easy and a quicker meal than some for those nights you want something different but don't want to work too hard.
