This makes a thick, chunky dressing that is great on salads or used as a sandwich spread or dip.
Our family eats LCHF style, so we don't buy milk (too much sugar). If I am trying to make something that would normally use milk, I can usually substitute a blend of cream and water. However, when I make my favorite salad dressing this way, the result is a little too thin. Adding a little sour cream to the blend is a great solution. You can play with the proportions to meet your own preferences. Here are the proportions I use:

This is potato salad the old fashioned way, with onion, celery, egg and light mayonnaise. I use dill relish instead of sweet and add seasoned salt and a few dashes of tabasco for a little extra spice.
This salad is best served cold. The longer it sits the more flavorful it becomes. I like it served on a bed of fresh spinach and romaine blend for an entree.
