These muffins are not too sweet, and use two whole grains for a little fiber kick. They are are a great way to use up overripe bananas.
This is a traditional dish in my husband's family, handed down from his Swedish ancestors. I don't care for it, but it makes him happy when I cook it for him.
I've never made this in a crockpot, but I bet it would work well. His great-grandma cooked it over the oven vent on her wood stove, and his grandma made it in an electric skillet.

so i was craving my multi grain cheerios...and some strawberries. so i looked through the fridge and found some strawberries and yoplait's fat free strawberry banana yogurt. i don't really enjoy milk, so i decided to make this recipe.. i'm eating it as i type this. it's so yummy! :D
This is a basic buttermilk pancake recipe with bacon bits in the batter.
