This is a slightly adapted version of the Cheezy Sauce found in Julie Hanson's book, "Vegan Diner." It keeps well in the fridge for about 2 weeks. I love it on vegan burgers and in bean burritos! The prep time includes soaking the cashews, which you don't have to do if you have a high-powered blender. I use a Ninja, so I skip the soaking.
Great on quinoa, rice, couscous, chicken, pork
Adapted from "The Bread Lover's Machine Cookbook" by Beth Hensperger. fantastic Bread book - get it! You'll never buy bread again. (Much easier than going to the store after work.)
The oat bran and lecithin are optional. You can still make this recipe without them.
Also you can just use this recipe without a bread machine.
I would have never tried this jsut hearing that it's made in the Microwave but it's PERFECT for those mornign I'm running out the door because it only takes about 2 minutes from start to finish!
Yummy, fast and easy. This recipe does not have near as much salt as listed. I didn't know how to reflect that only 1 seasoning packet is used for the noodles rather than two...
Used fat free sour cream instead of the light and turkey bacon instead of regular that were in the original recipe.
