European Pancakes (German) with flax
A simple European pancake recipe for flat pancakes using simple ingredients and with tons of flax. Possible toppings: syrup, fresh fruit or jam or for a russian twist add sour cream, make batter a bit thinner for crepes and fill with whipped creme and fresh raspberries and top with chocolate syrup. For savory meals fill with cooked veggies and cheese such as asparagus and melted velveta. You can add thinly sliced apples to the batter with a pinch of cinnamon for a variation. Photo: filled with fresh ripe mango and cottage cheese.
