Fast & SUPER easy, this recipe came from 'Miss Fluffy's Rice Cookbook', a beloved little family heirloom which was given away by Sperry New Holland farm machinery dealers in the late 1960's or early 1970's.
This uses whole wheat kernels which you grind in your blender as you make the pancakes. A fabulous whole grains recipe with maximum nutrients since the wheat is freshly ground losing no nutritional value! You could make it with just egg whites to save some calories and cholesterol also, but I calculated it with whole eggs. My boys all love these pancakes with jam or syrup and even plain!

Zahtar AKA za'atar, predominately ground sumac, roasted sesame seeds, and green herbs, Zahtar is used to flavor meats and vegetables, or mixed with olive oil and used as a marinade for olives or as a spread for pita or flatbread- a tangy, slightly sour Middle Eastern replacement for a PBJ! The taste of a za'atar mixture can be herbal, or nutty, or toasty.
