LADYROSE49 : That's how you do a BROTH, the same thing that you buy in cans, but homemade, don't be so rude! That's how I learned from my grandma: chicken carcass, water, salt+pepper, one onion, one carrot, one celeri branch, various spices. Afterwards you build your soup around that broth !
