Four chips for 100 calories??!! Sounds like an "expensive" snack in calorie terms...
I do the same thing for fat free tortilla chips. I bake corn tortillas in the oven until crunchy. :-)
Tabouleh is very easy to make! 1 bunch curly parsley chopped, 2 tomatoes and green onion diced, 1/2 - 1 cup finely ground bulgar wheat, olive oil, lemon juice, salt/pepper,a few tbsp dehydrated mint.. sprinkle of cinnamon/allspice. first~ soak wheat in cold water. Chop/dice veg. mix all.
I just made these and had them with some black beans I'd cooked in the slow cooker with taco seasoning. Our local store has mini whole wheat pita. 80 calories per serving. One pita round with 1/2 cup of black beans made a great snack.
That's a better idea than going out and buying a bag of them. You can control the calories better.
