In her comment 01/11/2010, SP member QUERIAN pointed out the CORRECT PORTION SIZE (= 345 cals) is 3/4 CUP, not 1/4 CUP. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Can someone else verify?? I haven't tried this yet, but am planning to make it for an upcoming camping/hiking trip. Saw the comments below and have to say that it is SUPPOSED to be high-calorie, it's for energy for people hiking and such. And no, eating a candy bar would not be better. Submitted by:

Before making check the ingredients for the items included . I avoid all soy products as they are probably from GMO soybeans and bad for my thyroid. Also what is the sugar content and source? Use fewer ingredients that are homemade or organic. Use soaked and dried nuts that are easier to digest. Submitted by:

looks really good, but honestly, 345 calories for 1/4 of a cup? That's way out of my acceptable range. I use a 100 calorie pack of almonds, a miniature box of raisins, and 10 dark chocolate M&Ms..191 calories..much more acceptable in my program.. Submitted by:

Sure! It's really TASTY but have to agree with the "stop at 1/4 C" comment!! If I'm counting calories, this is NOT a good way to spend them! I can have 3-4 pieces of fruit, all the veggies I could chew or a double dip of good ice cream for this little fourth of a cup and STILL get the nutrition! Submitted by:
