I used a can of no salt tomatoes instead of tomato sauce. I omitted the butter. I cooked the beef-then added the red onion & garlic. Then drained the liquid off. Added the can tomatoes w/ it's juice added cabbage. I also omitted the salt. I added crushed red peppers to it. Next time I'll add carrot
