Nutrition & Calorie Comments

These turned out really well. I made them with non fat greek yogurt versus sour cream and I used vegetarian versus chicken, but they turned out really well.
Basically, if I am reading this recipe right, you finish the mashed potatoes on the stove, then transfer to a crock pot to keep warm? That is a good tip for big meals, and I like the flavors. My one tip is to find a reduced sodium bouillon if possible.
I made about a 1/4 of the recipe for dinner and used a can of (reduced sodium, fat free) chicken broth with water as a substitution for the bouillon. I also left out the crockpot transfer since we were eating right away. Turned out GREAT!
These were delicious - I took them to Thanksgiving yesterday and it was nice to not have to do any messing about with pots & pans there (I brought them made and they just meditated on the side in the slowcooker). Was nice to sneak in something low-fat!
This looks good and I think I will make it for Thanksgiving. I am just a little nervous about using fat-free dairy products--they never taste good on their own, so I usually use lowfat or reduced fat dairy products. Everyone seems to like this though so maybe I will try the fat-free...
Looking forward to making this... A few years ago I was placed on mashed potato detail for Thankgiving and Christmas, due to the fact that I apparently made a fabulous batch one year. Due to my dad's diet restrictions, if I completly ommtted the salt, would it still taste as good as it sounds?
This was so good. My husband doesn't like sour cream and cream cheese, and he really liked the flavor of these. They were so creamy, it's hard to believe they're low fat.
Wow! I was very impressed with these. They tasted just as good as the calorie and fat laden ones!
These are delicious, easy and taste as good as my old full fat calorie rich version! Maybe better! They are creamy and wonderful and I am betting no one will know for Thanksgiving tomorrow that I'm sneaking a little healthier option in....
