I make this and once it's done, I add garlic powder and Italian flaked seasons, along with salt and some spray on margarine. It's really good, and lo-cal. I've also reheated it with some grated parmesan cheese and that makes it even better.
After making this all I could do was wonder WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG? This will be a staple in my diet from now on.

good info on how to cook squash, but calories are figured wrong, spaghetti squash has 41.9 calories a cup and this recipe is giving calories for 1/5 cup.
We served the cooked spaghetti squash with a store-bought pasta sauce and it was delicious. And much better calories-wise as well.
