Nutrition & Calorie Comments

If the recipe did not have so much sodium, I would use it. It sounds so good!
Changing my review to 5 stars after making this several times. I followed everything as written. Only adding 1 small can of mushrooms to the soup, salt and pepper to the chops, and the whole ranch packet to the soup. I just end up putting the soup on rice anyhow.
Just had this for dinner. Loved it. I used 1/2 cup of fat free ranch dressing instead of the milk & ranch mix. After browning the pork I put chopped zucchini, red onion, & broccoli on top and then poured the mixture over the top.
This was very good. I don't think rice is included in nutrition info. I served over roasted cauliflower. I used meat mallet to tenderize first.
I made a few alterations: made a quick white sauce to reduce sodium, substituted brown rice for white and cooked rice in the pan with the chops by adding extra water and allowing the rice to absorb the extra liquid. Chops were tender and rice was like risotto. Add a green veg and you're good.
I made a couple alterations - I used Cream of celery soup (we don't like mushrooms) and I laid the pork chop on a bed of Green Beans to cut down on the carbs. Everything was great!
very high in sodium
I found this recipes a couple months ago on a different site, It's all I use now for chops! Instead of the milk and packaged dressing, I use about 1/2 cup of Kraft Fat-free Rach Dressing for approx. 6 chops, along with the fat-free mushroom soup!
By my calculations...it would be 1/2 cup rice per serving (but I had to look at nutritional breakdown to determine the rice serving) Is that 1/2 cup rice before cooking...or after? The recipie doesn't say how much rice to cook....
These were some tasty chops! My whole family enjoyed these. The rice was amazing, and I'm not a big fan of rice but the ranch added a twist and with the gravy...Mmmm. It was on the salty side, I will use low sodium soup next time. Definitely a keeper!! Thanks!!
Used the Zesty Ranch Dressing by accident, but it turned out very good!! A little salty, but even my picky son ate it and told me I was a good cook!! LOL
Served this for my family that came over and everyone enjoyed it, though it was a bit salty for my taste. Next time I'll make sure to buy the reduced sodium soup. I'm so glad there is left over rice, because it was good too.
