Ingredients

    1 15 oz can of black beans, rinsed and drained
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    3 tbs chopped fresh cilantro
    1 tsp lime juice
    1 1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

Combine black beans, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt and cayenne pepper in a medium bowl and mix well.

Chill, covered, until serving time.

    I made this salsa for my birthday superbowl party everyone loved it. I first made a batch of it for my husband to see if it was good and he is super picky...he told me to make it for the party. I made a huge batch of it and it was gone at the end of the night. Yummy!! - 2/11/11

    I just love this salsa. I make a double batch, leaving out the cayenne pepper. I don't like it hot. My husband will add "hot sauce" to heat his up. - 12/14/10

    I could eat this forever. I did add corn, because everything's better with corn. Made it for a guest tomorrow night... hope it's not gone by then! Perfect over tortilla chips and sprinkled with shredded cheese. - 8/13/10

    YUMMO!! I made this and added a dash of cinnamon ( as i do with most of my mexican dishes.) and i choped the black beans a bit in the blender 9about 2 seconts) to give it a slightly dip like apperance. We loved it. Puttin git on baked chicken tonight and plan on making it for a party this weekend. - 8/6/10
