Introduction

I saw something like this on spark. I basically entered this more for my easy calculating into my nutrition page, but if someone thinks about trying it, you WILL love it. Addicting! Ingredients

    1 cup fat free cottage cheese
    1 tbs garlic powder (or to taste)
    1 tbs dried dill (or to taste)
    1/2 cup chopped cucumber with skin (take all the fiber, vit, minerals you can get!)
    Joseph's brand Whole Wheat Oat Bran Pita

Directions

Mix all ingredients except pita. I like to cut my pita in half, open it and toast it before filling it up. This is a texture and flavor satisfying lunch. It fills me up and keeps me going. I feel far from dieting when I eat this lunch! The calories keep my day going well within my goals and leave me plenty of calories for a good dinner! I buy the mini cucumbers and just use a whole one. =D

    I was glad to see this recipe. I love cucumber and Cottage cheese. I think this would go well with Zucchini as well. This is my lunch for tomorrow. Thanks - 6/7/10
