Introduction

A delicious breakfast on a cool morning! Also is smoothie base when chilled! A delicious breakfast on a cool morning! Also is smoothie base when chilled!

Ingredients

    1 12 oz can pureed pumpkin
    1 cup nonfat milk
    6 Splenda Packets
    Nutmeg and cinnamon to taste (I use about a tsp of each)
    1/4 tsp vanilla
    1 packet instant oatmeal, maple and brown sugar flavor
    1 cup water

Directions

Empty one can of pureed pumpkin into a saucepan over low heat. Add the the rest of the ingredients and stir to thoroughly blend. Bring the heat to medium, adding the water periodically. If the water seems to evaporate too quickly, more may be added than 1 cup. Make sure to stir constantly, you don't want burnt pumpkin! As soon as it bubbles, remove from heat. Makes 3 servings, each 1 cup.
