Ingredients

    3 cups fresh or frozen and thawed berries (such as blueberries and blackberries)
    2 large apples, cored and chopped
    2 T whole wheat Flour
    1 T sugar substitute
    .5 tsp ground cinnamon

    For the topping:
    1 cup rolled oats
    .25 cup brown sugar substitute
    .25 cup nonhydrogenated soft margarine (melted)
    .5 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

Serves 6

. Combine the berries and apple in an 8-inch square microwaveable baking dish. Combine the flour, sugar substitute and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the fruit and toss gently.

2. To make the topping, combine the oats, sugar substitute, margarine, pecans and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Sprinkle the topping over the fruit mixture. Microwave on high for about 6 minutes or until the fruit is tender. Serve as is or with a dollop of yogurt.
