Ingredients

    2# turkey ham, cut into bite sized pcs.
    1 bag baby carrots
    1 small head cabbage, cut into wedges
    2# red potatoes, quartered
    1 envelop dry onion soup mix
    1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
    32 oz water ( approx) enough to cover

Directions

Bring to a boil, cover and simmer until for all vegetables are tender. Makes 12 or more 2 cup servings.

    Incredible!
    This was incredible! I used 1 large bag of mixed veggies, I used a larger head of cabbage, I cut all the veggies smaller. I tried using a crockpot to make this- this makes TONS! I had to use 2 crockpots! I put some in freezer so I'll let you know if it freezes well. Taste was great and filling! - 8/17/12

    Incredible!
    Well I had already started a ham and cabbage soup recipe for dinner, but couldn't remember JUST how my mom made it so I came on here to get some ideas....funny....this with the exception of the onion soup mix is EXACTLY how I started my recipe...guess I was doing something right after all!
