Ingredients

    4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
    2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubes
    2 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubes
    2 medium carrots, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1 can (28ounces) whole stuewed tomatoes
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp elery seed
    1/2 tsp ground pepper
    1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/8 tsp groud nutmeg
    1 cup chicken broth
    1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (optional)

Directions

combine chicken, poatoes, carrots, tomatoes, spices & broth in crock-pot slow cooker.

Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours

Sprinkle with basil just before serving.

    Easy to make and had a good flavor. Nice change from regular stews. Family had seconds so they must have approved! :) - 1/14/09
