Ingredients
-
3 egg whites
3-4 packets of Splenda or sweetner of choice
1 cup of strawberries or other fruit of choice (fresh or frozen)
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
Nonstick cooking spray (like Pam)
Directions
Whip egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Fold in splenda.
For cooking you have a few options:
1) Spray a nonstick pan with Pam, and add the egg whites. Cook them until done and top with fresh fruit.
2) Put the egg whites into a microwave safe bowl that is roughly 2-3 times larger than the egg white mixture. Cook at 30 second intervals until done. If using frozen fruit, you can add the fruit to the egg white mixture and it will dethaw.
3) Spray an oven-safe pan with Pam. Add egg white mixture to pan. Place it into a 350 degree oven. Cook for roughly 10 minutes or until done. Top with fresh fruit.
