Ingredients

    Flour, white, 2 cup
    Olive Oil, 1/2 cup
    Butter, salted, 1 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Water, tap, 8 fl oz
    Spinach, fresh, 1 package (10 oz)
    Garlic, 1 clove
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Dash
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp

Directions

Preparation:
Stuffing: Whiten the spinach soon passing it through boiling water and cooling quickly in water with ice. Chop spinach very finely, sauté garlic and the onion in just a little bit of olive oil add whitened spinach. Let refresh, until next day on the refrigerator.
Mix the first four ingredients with the hands until obtaining small grumps, adding the cold water by spoonfuls and continue uniting until obtaining neither a very hard nor very smooth mass. Let rest for 10-15 minutes. Stretch with a roller pin and cut rounds of approximately 5”. Place a generous portion of spinach stuffing in center, paint edges with water, you close the Empanada (patty) one pressing with the fingers and decorative edged with fork.
