Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:
1 c All Purpose Flour
1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour
1/8 c Milled Flax Seed
1/8 c Wheat Bran
1/2 c Splenda Granulated no calorie sweetener
1 t Baking Soda
1 t Baking Powder
1/2 c Hershey's Cinnamon Chips
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
1/2 t vanilla bean powder (optional)
Wet Ingredients:
1 1/2 - 1 3/4 c water
1/2 c Egg Beaters
1/2 c Unsweetened Applesauce
1/4 c Oikos Greek Yogurt, non-fat
1 T lemon Juice
1 t Vanilla Extract
1/2 t Vanilla butternut flavoring (optional)
Directions
Pre-heat a Belgium Waffle Maker, Flip Style, automatic setting 4-5.
In a medium sized bowl sift Baking Soda and Baking Powder together over remaining dry ingredients. Stir with whisk to add air and distribute chips.
In a small bowl, blend 1 c of water to egg beaters, applesauce, yogurt and flavorings. Stir to blend well then add lemon juice. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until well mixed. Add enough of the remaining water to make batter the consistency of thin cake batter.
Spray Waffle Maker with butter flavored Pam and ladle 1/4 - 1/3 c of batter into waffle maker (depends on the size of waffle maker). Don't add too much or batter with overflow waffle maker.
