Introduction
I got this from my Step-dad, and substituted Xylitol for the brown sugar it originally called for. I got this from my Step-dad, and substituted Xylitol for the brown sugar it originally called for.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

2 C uncooked thick cut Oats
1/4 C Xylitol or brown sugar
1 t vanilla extract
1 t. cinnamon
1/3 c raisins (I also use frozen blueberries)
1 T chopped walnuts
1t baking powder
2 C non fat milk
1/2 C unsweetened applesauce
2 T canola oil
1 large egg
cooking spray
Directions
Prepare and refrigerate overnight
Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl, and mix.
Combine the 1 1/2 cups of milk, applesauce, oil, and egg.
Add milk mixture to oat mixture; mix well.
Pour into an 8 inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray. (I use a rectangle dish of about the same dimensions)
Add the other 1/2 cup milk in the morning and mix in the morning before baking.
Bake at 375F for 60 min. Serve warm.
