Ingredients

    2 cups all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 3/4 cups nonfat milk
    6 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 large eggs

Tips

You can add vanilla extract or other flavorings, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or fruits to the batter for different varieties of waffles, using this recipe as the base.


Directions

Sift and mix together dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) in bowl and set aside.
Beat eggs and oil in large bowl until fluffy.
Add milk and continue to beat the mixture.
Slowly add dry mixture to wet ingredients until well-mixed and smooth.
Let mixture stand for at least five (5) minutes before baking the waffles in your waffle maker.

Serving Size: Makes approximately 9 6" waffles
