Ingredients

    1 slice of whole grain bread, 1 egg, pat of butter.

Directions

Melt butter in a small nonstick frying pan on medium heat. Cut or poke a 1" hole in the bread and add it (and the "hole") to the pan. Crack an egg into the hole in the bread and fry on medium heat for about 1-1/2 minutes, turn over and fry the other side for another 1-1/2 minutes or to the desired doneness. Great as a breakfast item or light supper. May be served with side of bacon or ham for breakfast, if desired.
