Introduction
Great for a mid-hike lunch, fast and easy. Use any sprouts you have around. Great for a mid-hike lunch, fast and easy. Use any sprouts you have around.Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
1 Large Cabbage Leaf
1/4 Avocado (any kind)
1/4 cup Bean Sprouts (or sprouts of any kind)
Salt to taste
Tips
If you're preparing this to eat later, a good way to store it so it keeps its shape is to wrap it in something protective (recycled plastic bag?) and secure it with a rubber band.
Directions
Wash your cabbage leaf and lay it out flat on a clean surface. Mash the avocado and spread it out on the cabbage leaf, leaving about 2" of leaf around the perimeter. Spread the sprouts over the avocado. Add salt to taste.
Wrap the cabbage leaf as though you're making a "tortilla wrap." When the cabbage leaf is halfway wrapped, fold in the sides, burrito style, and then finish wrapping.
Serving Size: Makes 1-2 servings, depending on hunger level
