Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    9 cups water
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
    1 tbsp pink Himalayan salt
    Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend, .5 tsp
    Other seasonings, if desired
    Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1.25 cup
    Kale, 5 cup, chopped
    Carrots, raw, 5 small (5-1/2" long)
    Leeks, 1 leek
    Celery, raw, 1 stalk, large (11"-12" long)
    *Canellini Beans, organic, 1.5 cup
    *Yams, 1.5 cup, cubes

Tips

Add 1/4 cup of white rice to each average sized bowl of soup.


Directions

Add the water to the pot and turn the heat to medium - high. Dice or cut all ingredients, which can be cut in the order listed and added as cut, or all cut and added at once, saving the red peppers for later. After adding all the ingredients, stir the pot, cover and let simmer for 45 minutes. Add the peppers to the pot and continue simmering for another 15 minutes.

Be sure to cool the pot after cooking as this dish is hot.

This can serve 10...depends on your appetite.
