Introduction

Ingredients

Ground Beef 93% Lean, 6 oz
Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Garlic, 1 cloves
Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper
garam marsala, 1 tsp
Ground tumeric, 1 tbsp
Curry powder, 1 tsp
Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp
Tomato Paste, 0.2 cup
Balsamic Vinegar, 0.5 tbsp
Beef Oxo, 0.25 serving
Cornflour (optional)
Pepper, black, 1 tsp
Tips
salt should be added at the end of cooking when cooking beef dishes and cornflour and water is optional, for thickening.
Directions
Fry onions in olive oil until soft.
Add chopped garlic and chopped peppers and fry for a couple of minutes.
Add the spices; garam marsala, tumeric, curry powder and fry for 10 to 20 seconds whilst stirring.
Add beef and continue to stir until browned, should take approx 7 mins.
Add Vinegar, Sugar, tomato paste and stir for 2 mins.
Add beef stock (beef oxo with water approx 50ml serving).
Stir and leave to simmer for about an additional 30mins. Next add Salt and pepper to taste and before serving mix up cornflour and water and add as a thickener (this is optional). Serve with rice.
