Ingredients

    16 oz Lentil
    8 oz pasta (any shape)
    4 carrots, cubed
    1 bunch of fresh spinach or 1 16oz box frozen chopped spinach
    1 large onions, chopped
    2 garlic cloves minced + same amount of minced onions
    8 oz ground meat (turkey, chicken, beef, or pork
    1 can broth (chicken, beef or vegetable)
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Cook lentil in water (each 1 cup lentil in 3 cups of water) until tender while cutting up carrots, and onions. Mix minced onions, garlic, a pinch of salt, pepper, and sugar with ground meat. Drop little balls of meat (spoon meat in tip of a spoon) into the lentil soup. Add chopped onion, carrots, and pasta. When carrots are tender, add spinach and chicken broth. Bring to boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. It's optional to add spices like basil and oregano. Serve hot.
